Aim

This course applies to a wide range of settings where emergencies involving asthma attacks may occur. It is relevant for people working in childcare, education, aged and
community care, sport, tourism, hospitality, industry enterprises and other environments.

  effects of asthma
• Emergency treatment of asthma
  
• Risk minimisation and management strategies for asthma emergencies

Delivery
This course is designed to be “hands-on”, delivering you the practical knowledge for a very simple out-come. Prior enrolment and payment is required, then you will be given our Training Workbook to peruse at your own pace before the course begins. The course is in a friendly atmosphere. It is really that simple, so no stressing.

Pathway
Successful completion of this course, will enable you to progress to advanced courses in First Aid.

Assessment
All candidates will be required to pass a short multiple-choice questionnaire and demonstration of skills. They will then be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
